Hire Guidelines and Things you should know?

  • Weekend hire starts after 3pm Friday until 9am Monday = 1 day charge. If you are late on Monday it is 2 days.
  • If we deliver you must phone for collection, we do not automatically collect, our drivers canโ€™t take collection instructions.
  • Machines are not insured, if not returned you pay for the replacement.
  • Make sure you know how to use the tools.ย Ask if you need help. Also make sure of safety requirements.
  • Hires are charged for time out โ€“ not time used.ย Minimum 1 day (1 day = 24 hrs)
  • Scaffold is charged weekly, all other tools daily.
  • Tools must be returned Clean. e.g., if you paint onto a ladder, we charge for cleaning.
  • Negligent damages get charged for separately.
  • Consumables not used may be returned for refund.
  • If you pay by cash we can refund in cash, if you pay by card we refund onto card. (no debit card refunds) Card refunds can take up to 10 days.
  • If you keep machines for a long time we can give you better rate.

Payments

This is a cash business. We do not allow for 60-days or 30-day payments as we are not a registered credit provider in terms of the NATIONAL CREDIT ACT.
  • Payment can be made when collecting with EFT, Card or Cash.
  • Bank Details. Hire Our Tools Current account FNB Account no 62004200630 cell phone number or contract number as reference only
  • Deposit preferably paid in cash then we can refund in cash immediately upon return.

Eft Payments

Please use your cell phone number or contract number as reference only so that we can link your payment to your profile.

Card Payments

We accept Credit Card and Debit cards except American express and Diners Club. All cards payments get refunded back onto the card. NO Cash Refunds if paid by card. We cannot refund onto a Debit Card - you need to pay the Deposit in Cash if you want it refunded in cash.

Refunds

Credit Card refunds take 3-10 banking days.
We recommend that Deposits be paid in cash to avoid these delays.
If paying by debit card, then deposit must be paid in cash please. The banks donโ€™t allow refunds onto debit cards We can only refund in cash, if paid in cash.

Reasons why we take Deposits

  1. You need to bring the machine back on time โ€“ if ย you donโ€™t, we have money for a 2nd days charge. Day rate works in minimum 24hr cycle, if you take it at 10am it needs to be back at 10am the next day Weekends are the exception: You may fetch Friday after 3pm or Sat between 8-12 BUT the tools must be returned By 9am on Monday or else a 2nd day will be charged
  1. You need to bring the machine back clean please. We supply clean machines, we expect them back in the same condition โ€“ we may charge a cleaning fee and in the case of Concrete mixers we WILL charge a cleaning fee because it is very difficult to clean dry concrete.
  1. Minor damages through incorrect use. We pay for normal wear and tear but not for negligent damage, if this happens, we may use some of the deposit money.
  1. Fortunately our staff provide you with all the operating instructions when you take the machine so it is very seldom that people do not get their full deposits back ๐Ÿ˜Š
